Mozart's 250th anniversary year is the perfect opportunity to give this now
rarely performed but vibrant edition of Handel's great masterpiece a hearing.
Arranged for the larger orchestral forces and performance styles of late
18th century Vienna, this edition has been described as "this wonderful
meeting of two great musical minds" and will bring an added topicality
to our much praised performances of this greatest of all choral works. We
again bring to the Symphony Hall stage four prizewinning singing stars of
the future to complement the brilliant playing of the CBSO. Make sure you
are there to hear it!
Ticket prices: £8.00, £12.00, £15.00, £20.00,
