Classic FM's dynamic presenter, Natalie Wheen, steers us through the development of Elgar's compositional genius. Hear about those brilliant creative skills, including performances of some of his earlier compositions, shorter choral masterpieces, culminating in his late, great and reflective choral ode 'The Music Makers', first performed in the Town Hall at the 1912 Birmingham Festival. Hear the hauntingly beautiful voice of internationally renowned contralto Frances McCafferty and the CBSO under Adrian Lucas' inspirational baton in this anniversary tribute to the Midlands' greatest musical son.

Ticket prices: £8.00, £12.00, £15.00, £20.00, £25.00, £30.00 & £35.00. Discounts available.
