 Choir Commission Wins British Composers Award

Congratulations to Chris
Long, our adopted composer, whose work the Choir commissioned won the Making
Music Award at this year's British Composer Awards.
The 4th British Composer Awards were held at the Hayward Gallery, part of London's South Bank
Centre, and featured categories ranging from chamber to choral, from liturgical
to new media.
For many composers, to win such an award is a turning point in their musical
careers. Many past winners have found they start receiving commisions and a much
greater interest in their music and
