Interesting facts!
The City of Birmingham Choir first sang Messiah in 1921 and has performed it in Birmingham every year since 1943.
Claire Wild, our soprano soloist in this performance, was the winner of the City of Birmingham Choir ‘Singing Challenge’ in 1997.
