Blazing Belshazzar – after a standing ovation in Vienna

25th April 2017, by Mark Lawrence

We have just returned from an excellent tour to Vienna, including a performance of Handel’s Messiah which received a standing ovation from the large and appreciative audience.

Our next great excitement is our collaboration with Birmingham Schools’ Symphony Orchestra under the baton of CBSO Associate conductor and long-time director of the BSSO, Michael Seal. Enjoy a rare chance in Birmingham to hear the fantastic Belshazzar’s Feast by William Walton. Saturday 21st May at 7.30 pm in Symphony Hall.
