Beethoven’s Ninth, Symphony Hall

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)

Monday, 30th December 2019 at 7:30pm; Symphony Hall, Centenary Square, Birmingham B1 2EA.

Beethoven’s groundbreaking Ninth Symphony, with its sheer scale, novel percussion, dramatic quartet of soloists and full chorus performing the Ode to Joy, has remained a steady favourite amongst music-lovers. Join us for a turn-of-the-year performance of this thrilling work in the acoustic perfection of Symphony Hall.

We look forward to joining once again with our friends in Birmingham Choral Union, whose music director is Colin Baines, our accompanist.
